Congratulations to the winners of the Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival annual prize draw! Winner of the 1st prize wild blueberry table and gift basket was Barb Burns of Bass River, 2nd prize gift basket winner was Gail Inch from Truro, and the 3rd prize basket went to Debbie Blois of Gore and Parrsboro!
August 14 - August 29, 2015 from Amherst to Truro, Parrsboro to Tatamagouche, Kempt Shore to Oxford communities throughout central Nova Scotia will celebrate the Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival. Enjoy a HUGE schedule of events including live music, community picnics, teas, suppers and pancake breakfasts, farmers markets, pie eating and baking contests, quilt fairs, exhibitions, children’s activities, U-Picks, processing tours, blueberry wine fest, beer garden, kitchen parties and more!
We are now working with community groups throughout the region to establish our new 2015 schedule featuring over 50 wild blueberry themed events! We also look forward to revealing our greatly anticipated "Taste of the Festival" list of food and beverage establishments who will offer a scrumptious assortment of wild blueberry menu items for the 2015 festival!
